Our programme

Innovation should never be reserved to a single department of a manufacturing company. For businesses to thrive, a strong culture of innovation is necessary across all roles, from engineering and logistics to marketing and finance. With the majority of our students already active in roles at businesses and organisations in Wales, we’ve designed our programme to be flexible and adaptable to suit the needs of employers.

We’re offering two variations of the International Innovation Masters: a two-and-a-half year MSc course for those committed to achieving a full masters qualification, and a shorter 32-week course that condenses the most important practical knowledge into two key modules.

Business Improvement with Innovation Management
(Certificate 40 credits Level 7)

In this 32-week programme, students will complete two modules: Introduction to Innovation and Managing New Product Development. Graduates will be equipped with a thorough and practical understanding of how innovation can be applied to every aspect of modern business.

Innovation Management
(MSc Level 7)

Our full Masters programme is suitable for students keen to attain a complete academic qualification. This two-and-a-half year course includes modules on research methodologies, finances and planning and a dissertation, alongside both the modules found on our shorter Business Improvement programme.

Is Innovation Mangement right for me?

Do you work for a manufacturing firm in Wales? Are you looking to further your career by learning the fundamentals of innovation on a supportive, fully-funded programme? Innovation Masters could be the answer.

Our programme has been designed by experienced industry leaders who understand the challenges faced by modern manufacturers. With most of the course being delivered remotely via our virtual learning portal, you can continue to work throughout your studies, experiencing lectures and course material online while applying your new knowledge to real scenarios in your current role.

The mix of theory and practical elements of how to manage innovation made the course very accessible on a personal level – and immediately introduced new possibilities for applying the knowledge directly to the Company. As a result this encouraged a new surge of optimism to move Innovation within the Company to the next level.
